Kirk Swanson

BitTitan, the developer of MigrationWiz and global leader in managed services automation, today announced the launch of its M&A growth initiative with the hiring of Kirk Swanson as corporate development associate. With the newly-added role, BitTitan plans to strengthen its market position through strategic investments in the enterprise cloud space.

“As BitTitan looks to enhance its global operations, we are seeking investment opportunities in innovative technologies to provide additional support to our customers around the world,” said Barney Silver, BitTitan’s vice president of finance and operations. “Kirk brings a wealth of experience working with both domestic and international companies and overseeing cross-border transactions. He will undoubtedly play an integral role in helping BitTitan identify and pursue key acquisitions to grow our business.”

Specifically, BitTitan is interested in identifying companies with cloud-based SaaS solutions and a strong presence with IT service providers or managed service providers (MSPs). Moreover, the company is uniquely positioned to consummate an acquisition quickly.

“BitTitan is a dynamic company that lives on the cutting edge and continually delivers innovative cloud-based solutions,” said Swanson. “I’m thrilled to join a talented team of professionals with a unified vision, a focus on professional excellence and a commitment to exceeding its customers’ expectations. We are committed to driving continued success for our customers, employees and shareholders.”

Swanson comes to BitTitan after nearly five years at D.A. Davidson & Co. in Seattle, the largest full-service investment firm headquartered in the Northwest, where he was most recently an associate in the investment banking group. In this role, Swanson advised public and private companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and strategic advisory assignments. He previously held roles at Boeing and T-Mobile. Swanson earned a master’s degree in finance and a bachelor’s degree in economics, both from Pacific Lutheran University.
