First Choice Health Announces New Employee Assistance Director

First Choice Health (FCH), a forward-thinking provider-owned and provider-driven health care system has announced the promotion of Heather Ford, LMHC, to its Director of Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Heather was an active duty military social worker for almost 10 years (including while deployed in Iraq), and has worked in inpatient units, primary care, outpatient clinics, private practices, and was formerly an account executive for FCH’s EAP before her promotion to director.

“I’ve been proud to be part of the Employee Assistance Program team at First Choice Health as it’s been increasingly proactive in creating innovative solutions to everyday problems, including new telehealth offerings, which allows more of our members to receive the care they require regardless of the time of day or their location,” said Ford. “This organization has taken the lead on addressing issues that too often go unspoken, such as suicide in the workplace, and I’m honored to lead our EAP into its next phase so even more individuals can get the help they need.”
