PEMCO Mutual Insurance recently welcomed Cynthia La Rowe to the organization’s executive team as vice president, chief people and brand officer. La Rowe will guide the fulfillment of PEMCO’s brand promise and overall employee, customer and community experiences. 

 La Rowe will head human resources, marketing and communications, real estate and facilities and enterprise services, amongst other internal functions. She brings to the role more than 30 years of experience spanning multiple sectors and industries, and deep expertise in business strategy, people strategy, corporate communications, operations, sales and transformation. 

La Rowe specializes in helping companies hone and communicate their unique value propositions and market-differentiated expertise, and in helping them identify and refine iconic practices that inhibit profitable and values-based growth. She is passionate about employee engagement and well-being and supporting employee-driven initiatives that foster community, innovation and results.

Prior to PEMCO, La Rowe established and led sales and client service practices with industry-leading go-to-market management consulting experts The Spur Group and Bridge Partners, among others. Before that, she led global people functions for Starbucks and Microsoft. La Rowe started her career in business and community development for international, national and local non-profit organizations.

A graduate of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, California, La Rowe lived and worked internationally before settling in Seattle where she now lives. Outside of work, La Rowe thrives on time with family and friends, creating and experiencing the arts, improving her home and getting outdoors.
