PEMCO Mutual Insurance, the Northwest’s leading locally based insurance provider, recently welcomed Carolyn Ohlsen as the company’s talent acquisition manager. She joins PEMCO with more than 12 years of recruiting and talent sourcing experience.
In her new role, Ohlsen will lead PEMCO’s talent acquisition efforts and partner with hiring managers and HR business partners to attract, hire and onboard new employees. She will also support early-in-career programs and career pathing within the organization.

Ohlsen most recently served in a similar role at TINYpulse, an employee engagement and performance management software company, where she helped recruit top-tier talent and oversaw every step of the recruiting process. Prior to that, she was the lead recruiter for Rational Consulting, a customer experience agency focused on services and solutions that drive business performance, growth and employee relations.
When she isn’t in the office, Ohlsen enjoys spending time with her husband Mike and their young son, along with their cat Waffles and two pugs, Charlie and Annie.
