The Washington State Convention Center's New Addition Will Generate Big Bucks

The new building, dubbed the Summit, will double the convention center's existing capacity

When it opens in the spring of 2022, the addition to the Washington State Convention Center will pack an economic wallop. Called the Summit, the new building will double the convention center's existing capacity. It will feature almost 150,000 square feet of exhibit space, about 100,000 square feet of carpeted meeting space divisible into 62 meeting rooms and 137,000 square feet of naturally lit lobby space.
