The big boys of technology are once again following on the heels of a cutting edge report from Seattle Business Magazine.

HP released a study that contained a hypothetical analysis of how a farm with 10,000 cattle could be used to power a data center with about 1,000 servers. The power is derived from methane released from the cow’s waste, a technology that we profiled in May.

There is no word yet as to whether HP will be buying waste from other sources, although we think Honey Bucket might be interested in a partnership.
