Scott Somers

Scott Somers, NCARB, has joined the design firm Stantec as a senior architect in its Spokane, Washington, office. He has more than 26 years of diverse industry experience serving both public and private clients, focusing mainly on the programming, development, and design of healthcare, dental, and orthodontic projects throughout the U.S. and abroad.

 

In addition to his healthcare work, he specializes in the planning and design of business and real estate development projects and community/civic design. Somers’ experience will expand the firm’s regional and nationwide capabilities.

He has done outstanding work across multiple states and for many clients. We are excited about what Scott adds to our U.S. West Stantec offices.”

 

At Stantec, Somers will provide senior programming and design leadership for a wide variety of project types. He joins Stantec from his own firm, ARCH-101 and previously OMS Architecture, where he managed a staff of 18 on hundreds of projects.

 

Somers is a contributing author for both the American Association of Orthodontists and Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists projects websites, and his articles have been published in numerous healthcare and dental periodicals. He has been a guest lecturer for graduating seniors of colleges of dental medicine and for the Medical Group Management Association. He is a graduate of Kansas State University and a licensed architect in multiple states, including Washington and Idaho.
