Sean Tierney

Sean Tierney was recently appointed IID’s Vice President of Threat Intelligence. In this role, he leads IID’s collaboration with Fortune 500 companies and government agencies to identify emerging cybersecurity threats. Prior to IID, Tierney headed up Morgan Stanley’s cybersecurity efforts worldwide as its Executive Director of Computer Emergency Response and Cyber Intelligence. He has also served in cybersecurity executive and leadership roles at UBS AG, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Intel Corporation. Tierney earned a master of science in computer science from the University of Washington and a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Saint Martin’s University.
