Seattle Business magazine is looking for individuals and organizations pioneering efforts to advance Washington’s world-class health sector. The Leaders in Health Care awards recognize excellent patient care, outstanding leadership and thoughtful innovation.

AWARDS CATEGORIES

Outstanding Medical Center or Hospital Executive- Puget Sound
Awarded to the CEO or COO who has excelled in managing a hospital or medical center in the Puget Sound area.

Outstanding Medical Center or Hospital Executive- Outside Puget Sound
Awarded to the CEO or COO who has excelled in managing a hospital or medical center in Washington state outside the Puget Sound area.

Outstanding Medical Group Executive
Awarded to the CEO or COO who has excelled in managing a medical group in Washington state.

Outstanding Medical Director or Chief Medical Officer
Awarded to the medical director or chief medical officer who has distinguished himself or herself as a leader in a hospital, medical group or insurance company.

Achievement in Community Outreach
Awarded to the organization that has done an outstanding job providing medical care to disadvantaged communities.

Achievement in Medical Research
Awarded to the scientist, medical practitioner or research group that has done the most to advance the state of medicine.

Achievement in Medical Technology
Awarded to the company that has offered the greatest advances in medical devices, diagnostics, biotechnology tools and or biopharmaceuticals, resulting in higher quality and/or more cost-effective medical care.

Achievement in Digital health
Awarded to the company that has done the best job offering analytics, patient records, decision support and/or applications to help medical institutions offer higher quality and more cost-effective services to health-care providers.

Innovation in Health Care Delivery
Awarded to the facility or business that has best used innovation to improve quality and/or cost effective health care, including new business models for primary care, wellness and mental health.

Lifetime Achievement Award
Awarded to an individual whose distinguished service over the course of a lifetime has helped to improve health care for residents of Washington state.

To nominate an individual or company/organization, please fill out the nomination form below. If you would like to be considered for several categories, please submit a separate entry form for each category.

Finalists will be selected by a distinguished panel of judges. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on March 1, 2018 at Bell Harbor and featured in the March edition of Seattle Business magazine.
