Nearly 4 million workers are employed at technology firms in the top 10 metro areas in the United States, or about one in three tech workers in the nation. Seattle employs almost 300,000 workers, good enough for ninth in the country among major U.S. cities. But tech in Washington state is a lot more than just Seattle. Here’s a look at the state’s tech scene at the end of 2018:
