If you’re in the mood for food, cocktails and a high-tech virtual escape after work or as part of a weekend excursion, there’s a new venue opening in the Seattle area that wants your business. Technology-focused sports and entertainment business Topgolf Entertainment Group is unveiling its inaugural Lounge by Topgolf entertainment complex in Kirkland ― slated to open Friday, Jan. 24.

The 9,200-square-foot venue includes an upscale restaurant, bar and indoor lounge with an outdoor patio as well as four entertainment bays and a VIP bay ― all featuring Topgolf’s digital gaming experience. The Lounge by Topgolf also includes private event space and a unique digital sky.

“With Greater Seattle being a center for all things tech, I can’t think of a better location for the first Lounge by Topgolf.” says Topgolf Entertainment Group Executive Chairman Erik Anderson. “We use proprietary Topgolf Swing Suite technology to bring our guests exciting virtual games, all while enjoying locally curated food and beverage selections under a digital sky. Being a proud Seattle-area native, I am excited we’re opening the first venue of this concept in my backyard.”

The new venue is located at 425 Urban Plaza in downtown Kirkland and is part of the new 1.2 million square-foot Kirkland Urban mixed-use development. Its entertainment bays will offer a broad selection of digital sports games ― including championship golf, hockey, baseball, football and even “Zombie Dodgeball.”

“Lounge by Topgolf includes digital screens and a selection of exciting, digital multi-sport games and experiences that can be enjoyed by anyone, regardless of skill level,” the company says.
