Mary Compton

Mary Compton was appointed branch manager at the Peoples Bank Lynden Financial Center. Mary joined Peoples Bank in 1987 and was most recently branch manager at the Everson branch location. A graduate of Nooksack Valley High School, Mary was named the “2005 Graduate of Distinction” for the contributions she has made to the community over the years. Mary is the past president of the board of the Everson Nooksack Chamber of Commerce, has served as president of the Mt Baker Scholarship Foundation since 2006, and is board treasurer of the Downtown Business Association in Lynden. “As a lifetime resident of Whatcom County, I’m proud to work for a locally-owned bank that makes a positive difference in the community.
