Liz Deering

Liz Deering was appointed branch manager of the Peoples Bank Everson Office, located at 200 E. Main Street. Liz was born and raised in Whatcom County and has worked in banking for 15 years. Liz values her role as a trusted advisor for her customers. “I enjoy helping make each customer’s day a little brighter,” she said. “I have several customers who come to me as their problem solver for all sorts of things, mostly bank related, but not always. It feels really good to know that I am a trusted advisor that they feel comfortable reaching out to for help. I appreciate that Peoples Bank genuinely cares about their customers and employees. I enjoy working for an employer who shares the same values as I do.” Liz is an active volunteer in the community including in leadership roles at the Everson Nooksack Chamber of Commerce, Sumas Chamber of Commerce, Lynden Rodeo, Nooksack Valley Junior Riders 4-H Club, and is a member of the Nooksack Valley Riders. In her spare time Liz enjoys working on her small hobby farm which is home to many animals including three horses.
