BOTHELL, Wash. (Feb. 10, 2017): —Vioguard, Inc., the industry leader in ultraviolet light disinfecting solutions for the healthcare industry, today announced David Schultz has been named Chief Executive Office and President. He will also take a seat on the company’s board of directors.

Mr. Schultz brings more than 20 years of experience as an executive, leading and growing companies in the technology and financial service sectors. Prior to joining Vioguard, he served as executive vice president, global operations for EagleView Technologies, the leading U.S. provider of aerial imagery and related analytical solutions for the insurance, construction and government sectors. His previous experience includes executive roles in operations and sales at The Ryland Group and ZC Sterling Corp. He holds an MBA from Golden Gate University.

 Vioguard’s flagship product is a self-sanitizing automated keyboard and mouse system that uses high-powered germicidal ultraviolet light, known as UV-C. This system, which has been cleared by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, effectively kills 99.99 percent of all bacteria, viruses, fungi, and drug-resistant pathogens that have been proven to be responsible for millions of Hospital-Acquired Infections (HAIs) worldwide. Additionally, the company holds multiple patents in the UV-C space for sanitizing surfaces, such as touch screens, telephones, escalator handrails, writing implements, as well as various other surface and input devices.
