Angelia Wesch

Oles Morrison Rinker & Baker recently announced that it has elected Angelia Wesch as the firm’s Managing Partner. She assumes the role from co-managing partners, J. Craig Rusk and Tom Krider, who have led the firm in tandem for the past three years. Tom Krider will be returning to the full-time practice of law with the firm.

“I am proud to have led Oles Morrison alongside Craig for the past three years,” Krider said. “The firm has shown remarkable growth and deepened its commitment to the community. I have complete faith and confidence in Angelia as the firm’s next leader.”

Craig, who’s served as co-managing partner with the firm for 15 years, will serve on a management committee with partner Jason Wandler. Craig and Jason will advise and support Angelia as she manages the firm’s overall practice, management and day-to-day operations.

“After 15 years of managing the firm, I am pleased to pass the torch to such a capable partner,” Craig stated. “I look forward to supporting Angelia in her role and provide guidance on the day-to-day operations.”

In her practice, Angelia assists clients in resolving first and third party insurance coverage disputes, and litigating complex multimillion dollar construction claims involving builder’s risk, commercial general liability, and errors and omissions (“E&O”) policies. Angelia also advises construction clients on contractual issues involving tenders of defense and indemnity, additional insured coverage and extra-contractual damages.

In addition to her professional practice, Angelia has always been deeply involved with the community. Committed to advancing the role of women in the legal, real estate and construction industries, Angelia has been a member of Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) since 1995, previously serving as the Seattle and Sound Chapter President and a National CREW Network Board Member. She is a co-founder of the CREW Seattle & Sound Leadership Series which has provided extensive training and professional development skills to more than 60 women from the construction and commercial real estate industries since the program’s inception in 2013. Additionally, along with her partner, Meghan Douris, Angelia is an original member of Women Leaders in Construction, a networking group for women in the construction industry that serves more than 500 women.

“I am delighted to take on this important role,” said Angelia. “I look forward to expanding the opportunities we have at this terrific firm by enhancing the value we bring to our clients, our people, and our communities.”

Angelia will continue to maintain her active insurance recovery and insurance coverage practice, while taking on her new role as Managing Partner.
